Important observation about class size

For Gaokao level, having several, up to 20 students in the classroom is ideal. Why?

1. Students can learn to edit English better, seeing teammates’ short essays being improved.
2. Students can get many new ideas by seeing teammates’ work: benefiting from many different styles and conventions.
3. Students become better English writers and editors by seeing as many works and editing jobs as possible. One person? It’s just you.
4. When asked questions in the classroom, it’s a great way to practice speaking English in front of others.
5. With the group’s WeChat forum, students can connect together and help each other. Chairman Mao Zedong called it solidarity!
6. For English writing and editing, students in groups have better outcomes over time.

4. You will need a mobile phone number. Use your foreign first and last name, like, “Susie Wang” or “John Liu”, or if you do not have one, your full Chinese name.
5. After registering as a student, send me your name used to sign up, your date of birth and your phone number.

7. What is its name (see below)?
8. If you are more than one, your group needs to give it a name, so we can have a WeChat forum together. Send me the name, I will create the group and add all of you.
